Coach
Coach X is a great asset to SCR Ghost. With the rare feat of becoming a high level ambidextrous player. Coach X. has the knowledge and experience to teach all aspects of baseball at a very high level. "I have a passion for helping individuals unlock their full potential. My approach is grounded in developing not only quality ball players but amazing young men. I specialize in coaching ball players of all ages ranging for 10 years and most recently the last two summers a collegiate summer team. I have been coaching for 6 years now; 4 as the Varsity Assistant Coach at Diamond Ranch High School, while also coaching in high level travel baseball programs for high school players where I have assisted many players in earning scholarships to different schools across the country. A little bit of background of my playing experience. My career began at a young age of 5 years old. In high school I played varsity for 4 years having experience at all positions. I then went on to play at the collegiate level. I played my first year at Chaffey College, where I then transferred and earned a scholarship to play at Oregon Institute of Technology. As a player who was ambidextrous; pitching left handed and playing other positions right handed at a high level. I feel that I can be an asset to all players of any skill level to help them develop as not only good players but great young men. I look forward to working with the players and seeing them grow on their journeys as ball players.
Coach
Coach Perez is dedicated applying his dedication and extensive expertise, to mentor and guide our athletes, ensuring their optimal performance and professional growth in their respective skills. With great knowledge and understanding along with his previous experience as a Professional for the Houston Astros, Coach Perez brings his knowledge to all players in our organization, ensuring each athlete receives high level training to achieve their goals. "Baseball has been my life from an early age, leading me to a full-ride scholarship at Cal State Bakersfield, a year at Glendale Community College, and eventually signing as a free agent with the Houston Astros. I continued my playing career in independent baseball, gaining invaluable experience and insight into what it takes to compete at a high level. As a coach, my focus is helping pitchers unlock their full potential. I emphasize mechanical efficiency, mobility, and strength development to create sustainable velocity gains while keeping arm health a top priority. Beyond physical development, I take pride in teaching players the right mentality—how to approach games with confidence, stay focused under pressure, and dominate on the mound. Having navigated the journey from college to professional baseball myself, I understand what athletes need at every stage of their development and am dedicated to guiding them to become the best version of themselves."-Coach Perez
Coach
Coach Ramirez brings a high level of enthusiasm and expertise. As a two way player in college, Coach Ramirez knows what it takes to be a high level defender and pitcher. "I always knew I wanted to play baseball and be around the game forever. I played 4 years at Glendora high school where I spent 3 of those years on varsity. After that I attended Chaffey College for 2 years where I was 2 way player but really excelled on the mound and eventually hit 96mph. This would lead me to earning a scholarship to play at the University of Riverside. I then played 2 professional seasons in an independent league in Maryland and Idaho, before deciding that I wanted to get into coaching. As a coach, I feel like by using my experiences playing D1 baseball and Pro-Ball, I can really help each kid grasp what it really takes to play this game at a high level. I feel like the mental side of baseball as well as discipline are some of the most important things for young players to understand. When it comes to the player development process, I like to focus on where the adjustments need to made and how we are going to increase the skills in each individual player. I like to make sure the athlete understands each concept, and that the process of development isn’t always a straight line up but gradual adjustments that propel them to the next level."-Coach Ramirez
